【摘要】:Thewaterandsedimentcontentoffueloilissignificantbecauseitcancausecorrosionofequipmentandproblemsinprocessing.Adeterminationofwaterandsedimentcontentisrequiredtomeasureaccuratelynetvolumesofactualfueloilinsales,taxation,exchanges,andcustodytransfers.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthelaboratorydeterminationofwaterandsedimentinfueloilsintherangefrom0to30%volumebymeansofthecentrifugeprocedure.Note18212;Withsometypesoffueloilssuchasresidualfueloilsordistillatefueloilscontainingresidualcomponents,itisdifficulttoobtainwaterorsedimentcontentswiththistestmethod.Whenthissituationisencountered,TestMethodD95(APIMPMSChapter10.5)orTestMethodD473(APIMPMSChapter10.1)maybeused.Note28212;APIMPMSChapter10.6(TestMethodD1796)alongwithAPIMPMSChapter10.3(TestMethodD4007)formerlysupersededAPIStandard2548.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionarystatement,see6.1.
