【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesanindicationoftheresistanceorsusceptibility,orboth,toHIDofametallurgicallybondedstainlessalloysurfacelayeronasteelsubstrateduetoexposuretohydrogen-containinggaseousenvironmentsunderHP/HTconditions.Thispracticeisapplicableoverabroadrangeofpressures,temperatures,coolingrates,andgaseoushydrogenenvironmentswhereHIDcouldbeasignificantproblem.Theseprocedurescanbeusedtoassesstheeffectsofmaterialcomposition,processingmethods,fabricationtechniques,andheattreatmentaswellastheeffectsofhydrogenpartialpressure,servicetemperature,andcoolingrate.TheHIDproducedbytheseproceduresmaynotcorrelatedirectlywithserviceexperienceforparticularapplications.Additionally,thispracticedoesnotaddresstheevaluationofhigh-temperaturehydrogenattackinthesteelsubstrate.Typically,longerexposuretimesatthetestconditionsmustbeutilizedtoallowfortheresistancetodecarburization,internalblisteringorcracking,orboth,tobeevaluated.1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedurefortheevaluationofdisbondingofbimetallicstainlessalloy/steelplateforuseinrefineryhigh-pressure/high-temperature(HP/HT)gaseoushydrogenservice.Itincludesproceduresto(1)producesuitablelaboratorytestspecimens,(2)obtainhydrogenchargingconditionsinthelaboratorythataresimilartothosefoundinrefineryHP/HThydrogengasserviceforevaluationofbimetallicspecimensexposedtotheseenvironments,and(3)performanalysisofthetestdata.Thepurposeofthispracticeistoallowforcomparisonofdataamongtestlaboratoriesontheresistanceofbimetallicstainlessalloy/steelstohydrogen-induceddisbonding(HID).1.2Thispracticeappliesprimarilytobimetallicproductsfabricatedbyweldoverlayofstainlessalloyontoasteelsubstrate.Mostoftheinformationdevelopedusingthispracticehasbeenobtainedforsuchmaterials.Theproceduresdescribedherein,mayalsobeappropriateforevaluationofhotrollbonded,explosivebonded,orothersuitableprocessesforapplyingstainlessalloysonsteelsubstrates.However,duetothebroadrangeofpossiblematerials,testconditions,andvariationsintestprocedures,itisuptotheuserofthispracticetodeterminethesuitabilityandapplicabilityoftheseproceduresforevaluationofsuchmaterials.1.3ThispracticeisintendedtobeapplicableforevaluationofmaterialsforserviceconditionsinvolvingseverehydrogenchargingwhichmayproduceHIDasshowninFig.1forstainlesssteelweldoverlayonsteelequipment(seeRefs1and2inAppendixX1).However,itshouldbenotedthatthispracticemaynotbeappropriateforformsofbimetallicconstructionorserviceconditionswhichhavenotbeenobservedtocauseHIDinservice.1.4Additionalinformationregardingtheevaluationofbimetallicstainlessalloy/steelplateforHID,testmethodologies,andtheeffectsoftestconditions,materials,andweldingvariables,andinspectiontechniquesisgiveninAppendixX1.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSection6foradditionalsafetyinformation.
