【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsforthedesignandconstructionoffullysupportedcoveringsofrolledleadsheet,conformingtoBSEN12588,appliedtoexternalwallandroofsurfaces.NOTEFortheapplicationofsandcastanddirectmethod(DM)leadtheadviceoftherelevantmanufacturersshouldbesoughtforrecommendationsonthedesignandinstallationoftheirproducts(seeForeword).ThecolourcodingsystemusedforrolledleadsheetdoesnotapplytosandcastorDMlead.Therecommendationsapplyprimarilytofixingtheleadinsituandcoverthedesignandfixingofthewholeofthecoveringabovethesubstructurethatsupportsit,includingthedesignandfixingofguttersandflashings.Referencesaremadetocoveringsthatarebasedontheuseofpreformedpanelstowhichthemainprinciplesofdesignalsoapply.GeneralinformationonthepropertiesofleadroofcoveringsisgiveninAnnexA.
