【摘要】:1.1Partofthetotalinventoryofcommercialspentnuclearfuel(SNF)isstoredindrycaskstoragesystems(DCSS)underlicensesgrantedbytheU.S.NuclearRegulatoryCommission(NRC).Thepurposeofthisguideistoprovideinformationtoassistinsupportingtherenewaloftheselicenses,safelyandwithoutremovaloftheSNFfromitslicensedconfinement,forperiodsbeyondthosegovernedbythetermoftheoriginallicense.Thisguideprovidesinformationonmaterialsbehaviorunderconditionsthatmaybeimportanttosafetyevaluationsfortheextendedserviceoftherenewalperiod.ThisguideiswrittenforDCSScontaininglightwaterreactor(LWR)fuelthatiscladinzirconiumalloymaterialandstoredinaccordancewiththeCodeofFederalRegulations(CFR),atanindependentspent-fuelstorageinstallation(ISFSI).ThecomponentsofanISFSI,addressedinthisdocument,includethecommercialSNF,canister,cask,andallpartsofthestorageinstallationincludingtheISFSIpad.Thelanguageofthisguideisbased,inpart,ontherequirementsforadrySNFstoragelicensethatisgranted,bytheU.S.NuclearRegulatoryCommission(NRC),forupto20years.Althoughgovernmentregulationsmaydifferforvariousnations,theguidanceonmaterialspropertiesandbehaviorgivenhereisexpectedt
